A NEW SET OF MIND IN CHRIST

A renewal of the mind is a key part of the walk of Christ. The way we view life and everyone around us has to change when we’re in Christ because it is not us who live but the Christ in us. When one decides to go to the army, their mindsets are remodeled to think of survival, war, how to use weapons etc, when one desires to be any profession, a certain discipline is expected even for body builders one has to watch what they eat go through intense workouts etc however what all these things have in common is that the people behind these activities have consciously set their minds on the goal and nothing will stand in their way of achieving that goal. Likewise we as disciples of Christ have a goal for this race of life being perfected just like our Lord Jesus Christ and by seeking a Christ centered mind doing things that are contrary to what our flesh desires. Being led by the Spirit of God one has to fully surrender the previous mindset for a double minded man is unstable in all he does so let our minds be single set on Christ the author of our salvation, setting our minds on things above not below, seeking God daily meditating on His word daily so we can please God not self.
