Who’s your father?

If your are born again through faith in Jesus Christ then you are born of the Spirit of God who is Holy. So you identify your self with the one who begot you from the incorruptible. For he who acknowledges this purifies themselves just like He’s pure. Your father can either be God the creator and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ or the devil because he has children also it’s simply the truth. When the Pharisees(religious leaders) rejected the testimony of Jesus Christ being the Messiah who came forth from God of whom Moses and the prophets of old wrote about; even though they had the law, Jesus plainly told them straight up you are of your father the devil who has been sinning from the beginning. Wait what? I thought they had the scriptures and acted as oracles of God? Because they didn’t receive the true bread that came down from heaven the Word that became flesh, they were being led by the spirit of deception and their pride and egos hardened their hearts for they sought the glory of men not God. If indeed we are born of the Spirit we are to daily seek the Kingdom of God, staying in the Word and in communion with the Holy Spirit our helper.So let us live for God not self!
